NEWS!!!!

...Our life has made a complete 180 since I blogged a couple days ago. We just found out we got orders to Minot AFB, North Dakota! NORTH DAKOTA!!! Wow...yeah...when Geoff had put in for the job, I was kinda on the fence about if I should be happy or sad about the thought of us going there. I didn't think he would get it because we are still under our 4 year mark here...but he was so determined to leave Lackland. So yeah...our report no later than date is July 09...so yes that is in 3 months...wow! This is actually going to be really good for his career and our family we think though. He will be an instructor in a much smaller enviroment as he has wanted for years. Its a very very low crime rate area and very family oriented. Geoff will be mission essentail, so he will not be deploying or probably even going TDY for the next 4 years!!!


Luckily, Geoff no longer is going TDY this weekend in FL for 10 weeks! I am still in the mindset he is leaving and I will be alone...so im still getting used to the fact he will be here a while. He will be leaving in June for about 4 weeks for training in Alabama...4 weeks...bring it on! LOL.


So yeah, still getting used to this as we just found out yesterday...big BIG changes coming our way. I actually am going to miss it here...okay definatly not the weather, but I am going to miss all my great friends I have made here...seriously...you guys are family, and I dont know what I would have done with out you all! (even though cassie has already left me) and I will miss all the cool things there is to do around here. It will definatly be an adventure. We even went to the outlets last night in search of clearence winter clothes for all of us!!! Luckily we will be getting there, in the hottest time of the year, so we will gradually be able to get used to the severe winter. Well That is all for now....
